Knock Knock, Who's There? HSC, Damn!

Well, guess who payed me a visit again! The HSC, I thought he had gone but here he is again, trying to annoy me again with results (its not that they were bad, just thinking of HSC again). I was having a great time relaxing and looking forward to the future next year but then he tags on again and brings the same bad feeling it provided when I was doing yr 12. Hopefully, this is the last time he will bother me and I will be able to ride off into the future and have a great time!!!!! Yay!

Broken Record

Over the last half a year I think it is, I have been asked the question as to what I am doing after I finish the HSC. To start off with, it was fine and I was more than happy to comply, and even when I found out that I had recieved the scholarship for the Hotel School, I didn't mind explaining what it was and what it involved.

Now, I realise that not everyone knows that I have been telling everyone and that I can't just fob them off so as to not to repeat myself but I do get tired of the sound of my own voice and people around me alot might be too. I do feel like a broken record.

1 down, 12 to go!

I have been collecting books during this past HSC year (2 of which arn't mine and will need to give back) and now that I have time, I plan to read alot. Reading is great!!!!

Bad Timing

Hmmmm...

One thing that i am discovering is the timing of these things. For example with this one i am putting it up at 4:28pm (ish-but you get the point!)

Oh year, and its also Tuesday!!!!!!!!

Glass half empty or half full?

I heard the question discussed to day and thought I would explain my take on the answer. (being interested in hospitality i think sprouts this idea) My answer is "it depends" (yes, that sounds so much like i'm dodging the question!). If the glass has just been poured, the glass is half full, however if the glass has been tipped out until there is only half left - glass is half empty!

I have just finished reading a book called "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer (you may have herd of it) it is about winning the war in our minds and having the same mind as Christ. One of the conclusions that I gathered was that I can waste so much time thinking about the bad things (which I am sure that I do) instead of just getting on with it. Yes we will all go through bad times but i'm sure i have a tendancy to maybe take self-pity and think about all the bad things!! Well, i'm sure it will be harder than it sounds on paper and will take some work but the outcome..!!!! I would love to be more positive and enjoy life more!!!!

Now to go off and memorise some passages about God's Love.......

Something I hope to do more of

Now which bike rack did I put my bike on.....???

I love humour, it makes life more fun so although this is a quicker one I will try and make the future ones more thoughtout and specially thought of

First Live Performance

Tonight was the first time to perform one of my songs at church that I wrote. It was interesting, having everyone looking at me and me watching them as I tried to remember the words which wasn't as hard as I had originally thought it might be. I managed to get through it and I enjoyed it, I started to smile sometimes almost out of frustration when I saw some people in the audience talking and turning around but i got over it and got taken away by the tune, which actually is one that I find quite jazzy. I hope that this is the start of something bigger!!! Its fun to think of all the posibilities of where this could go!
